SCIENCE FAIR DEADLINES

Below I have listed important deadlines for your student’s science fair project.  Please post these dates in a visible location in your home and remind students as each date approaches.  Thank for your help with this!  In the next few weeks, students will be provided with all the information/instructions on how to complete their projects.  Students may complete each step of the process early. They do not have to wait until the last day of each deadline to finish the tasks required.  Completing these tasks early is encouraged.  If you have any questions as the year moves forward please feel free to ask.

·        August 31^st …………………………..……..Student Must Decide If Working With A Partner Or Working Alone.  All Freshman are required to do an individual project.

·        September 15^th ……………………………Student must generate a list on paper of at least 5 ideas.

·        October 3^rd ………………………………….Student Must Have a Teacher Approved Topic

·        October 31st…………………………………Mitchell paperwork must be completed and uploaded to the web.

·        December 21^st ………………………………Experimentation Complete!  (Extensions must be approved by teacher)

·        February 6^th…………………………………  Rough draft of project must be printed out in black and white and be placed on a board

·        February  15^th  ………………………………Local Avon Science Fair Project is due, no extensions!

·        March 20^th ……………………………………Regionals @ DWU in Mitchell.
