Gas law practice problems

Directions: Solve the following problems. Use your gas laws from your notes.  Show all of your work especially the proportion that you used to solve the problem

1.)    I have 50 L of a gas in a container at 35 PSI.  If I increase the volume of the container to 150 L, what will be the new pressure in the tank.

2.)    I have a gas that has a pressure of 75 PSI and a temperature of 350 K.  If I increase the temperature of the gas to 500 K what will be the new pressure?

3.)    I have a balloon full of helium gas.  It has a volume of 4 L and a temperature of 290 K.  I cool the balloon down to 200 K.  What will be the new volume of the balloon?  b.) What is happens to the pressure in this situation?

4.)    A container of gas has a volume of 5 L and a pressure of 80 PSI.  If I decrease the size of the container to 3 L, what will be the new pressure?

5.)    A container of gas has a pressure of 50 PSI, a volume of 4 L, and a temperature of 400 K.  If I increase the temperature to 600 K, and decrease the volume to  3 L, what will be the new pressure?
